WHAT IS YOUR DANGEROUS IDEA?

The Edge Annual Question — 2006

The history of science is replete with discoveries that were considered socially, morally, or emotionally dangerous in their time; the Copernican and Darwinian revolutions are the most obvious. What is your dangerous idea? An idea you think about (not necessarily one you originated) that is dangerous not because it is assumed to be false, but because it might be true?

Interesting read. Thanks to J-Walk for this link.

I am fascinated with the research on "Intelligent Design"!
I buy it 150%---
But it proves that
"someone" or "something"
created life! We did not come
from apes, or the Big Bang!
:)

As far as i know there is no research on "intelligent design". The whole gargle is just propaganda to promote a non-scientific, faith-based point of view. The whole concept of "intelligent design" is comparable to stating that the "laws of nature" must be somehow made because they're laws while in fact they're just a collection of empirical observations. Nobody has proved yet or will prove that "someone" or "something"
created life. You have to believe.
